You understand the importance of eating a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. The nutrients are undeniably beneficial to health and wellness. The problem is that it’s not always easy to prepare and consume all of the fruits and vegetables we need.

Juicing has grown in popularity over the last few years, and it’s no surprise. Imagine getting all of your daily fruit and vegetable servings in a single glass of easy-to-drink juice. Whether you’re an experienced juicer or just curious about juice, we’ve compiled a list of the best juicers based on rigorous testing.

Best Juicers Of 2024

omega

Omega Vertical Masticating Juicer

Omega is the best cold press juicer overall. The juice made with this juicer tasted great and was perfectly smooth. The pulp came out the driest of all the machines, and we got the second-highest amount of juice, indicating that this is a very efficient machine, though it was still one of the fastest-working.

Pros:
This juicer made the best-tasting and textured juice, and it did so quickly and efficiently.

Cons:
It’s expensive, and its narrow feed chute means you have to pre-cut ingredients.

The VSJ843QR is well-built, with parts that fit together neatly and enough weight to stay firmly in place while running. The vertical orientation results in a relatively small countertop footprint, though the tall chute may not fit inside a cabinet.

This juicer has enough power to handle tough ingredients, but you’ll need to manually cut up many items before they fit into the narrow chute. It’s an excellent choice if you enjoy juice and want to invest in a cold press for your home.

Ninja NeverClog Cold Press Juicer

Cold-press juicers are more expensive than centrifugal juicers, but Ninja’s NeverClog provides excellent performance for a surprisingly low price. It was powerful enough to crush carrots, kale, ginger, and apples without difficulty during testing, and we were impressed with how simple it was to feed everything in.

Pros:
This simple, lightweight juicer works beautifully for its low price.

Cons:
It’s slower and doesn’t extract as much juice as more expensive counterparts.

Everything except carrots produced good juice yields, with the Ninja leaving a lot of liquid in the pulp. It is extremely lightweight, making it easier to transport and store than the heavier machines on our list of favorites.

The NeverClog name is correct: we never had to stop or reverse the motor while juicing, and a trip through the dishwasher was enough to remove any pulp from all of the parts (except the motor base, which can be wiped clean with a sponge). Fans of chunkier orange or pineapple juices will appreciate the separate high- and low-pulp inserts that allow you to customize the texture.

This machine is slow. It took twice as long as high-end cold-press machines to extract slightly less juice. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a heavy-duty machine, the Ninja could be an excellent option.

nama j2

Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer

The Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer is a cutting-edge juicer that requires minimal produce prep, produces brightly flavored and smoothly textured juices, is quick to assemble and disassemble, is simple to clean, and has a sleek, attractive design.

Why do we enjoy it so much? Firstly, it fulfills the promise of its self-feeding hopper design. Most juicers require you to feed ingredients through a narrow chute, sometimes forcefully with a tamper, which requires a significant amount of preparation work and active time feeding the produce through. Nama’s hopper, on the other hand, resembles a blender pitcher, with an equally wide lid opening. This means you don’t have to cut fruits and vegetables into small pieces as much as you would with other juicers we tried.

More importantly, you can pile anything into the hopper (they recommend layering it with soft produce on the bottom and hard produce on top), close the lid, and then switch the machine to begin other tasks — no need to manually feed produce in, piece by piece.

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer

Kuvings juicers are all extremely powerful, versatile, and technologically advanced. And the REVO830 is the brand’s most recent creation, with a number of clever features to make it even more effective. Its large main chute can handle apples and other whole produce without the need for chopping, but it also has a second chute for longer or fibrous items.

The machine also includes attachments for smoothies, sorbets, and nut milk, which expand its capabilities.

The REVO830 performed admirably in all of our tests, producing the highest amount of apple juice while maintaining a consistent texture and fresh flavor. There is no need to prepare fruit or vegetables ahead of time; simply drop in whole ingredients and let the surprisingly quiet motor do the rest.

It’s also simple to clean, though we did notice that it doesn’t do an excellent job of pushing pulp out of its waste chute, so you may need to brush and scrub more thoroughly. We did appreciate the included strainer-cleaning tool, which automates the time-consuming process of removing all of the tiny bits from the screen.

Just be prepared to spend a lot of money on this versatile luxury juicer; it’s the most expensive unit we tested.

Amzchef Slow Masticating Juicer

This is a good value, especially if you only want to make a glass or two of juice at a time and don’t have much kitchen space to spare. It was able to take down all of the ingredients we threw at it; we had to push down pretty hard on the carrots, but they still made it through.

Although this juicer lacks any extra features, it performs its basic functions admirably. Our test juices all had a fresh flavor and great texture. Very little pulp made it into the juices, but a lot of juice remained in the pulp, resulting in lower yields than its more expensive competitors. We also lamented the lack of a drip-free spout, which resulted in sticky dribbles on the machine’s counter and base.
